Can I bring a partner or friend?
Certainly. Our events are open house so please do feel free to bring along a loved one, even if they don't have Crohn's or colitis.
Can I bring the kids?
Unfortunately most meets are geared up for adults with exceptions whereby a family event is organised specifically with kids in mind. We tend to focus on wining, dining and going out so most meets are therefore suitable for the over-18's.
Accomodation
Accomodation is always organised by the individual going. We tend to opt for a chain hotel where we know we will all fit in, and where we are confident of the bathroom facilities.
Itineraries
The itinerary is usually spread over the course of a weekend, with a preliminary meet-up on the Friday night in a pub local to the nominated hotel. We have a group visit on the Saturday, and a meal, pubs and clubs on the Saturday night. Sunday is more relaxed with free time and an informal lunch together.
Contact List
A month or so before the event, requests for your contact details will be sent out. If you wish, you may give us your mobile number. We use this to keep in touch during the course of the weekend.
