I've been banned for no reason
This is often to do with the forum's 'flood filter'. Spam bots - pieces of code that are programmed to advertise on unprotected forums- can often flood a forum with spam. To counteract this, CZ's forums have a piece of code that identifies when a large number of posts have been made in a short time and disables the user account as a precautionary measure.
If you have been legitimately banned by a moderator, you would receive a conduct notice. If you have not received this, chances are it's the flood filter.
Contact us at crohnszone@googlemail.com and where there is no conduct warning issue, we'll reinstate your account as soon as possible.
Moderators
The site moderators are volunteers that monitor the forum to ensure its content is suitable for a family audience and does not contain images, language or content that are adult or offensive in nature. Moderators have the ability to amend and delete forum posts and to issue account bans.
Why has my content been removed?
If you have been issued a conduct warning for unacceptable content, the chances are that it contained content, imagery or language unsuitable for a general family audience. For a further explaination please refer to the moderation notice, and the site terms of use which can be found at Crohn's Zone Terms of Use
How can I appeal against a site ban?
If you feel that a site ban made on your account was unfair or unwarranted, you may appeal against the decision. Please contact the site team at crohnszone@googlemail.com . The decision will be reviewed by the Site Manager.
Please note that an appeal does not mean that your account will be automatically reinstated. The facts of the ban will be reviewed and the ban may be upheld at the discretion of the site manager.
